The Pub and British beer culture was a huge influence on the creation of The Beer Can, and a quintessential part of that culture is cask ale. The Beer Can is excited to bring the cask to the Can, thanks to our local brewery partners.

Cask beer is beer that’s unfiltered, carbonated and sealed, where it undergoes a slight fermentation in the cask. These beers have gentle carbonation, a rounder mouthfeel and often a more complex flavour and aromatic profile (according to craftbeer.com). It’s often slightly cloudy, is best served a bit warmer, and is dispensed by gravity using a hand-pump beer engine (which we have at The Beer Can).

Each week will be a bit of an adventure and definitely worth trying again and again!

Once the cask is tapped, we’re serving it only that day, until we run out!
