Located in the heart of the Exchange District, their non-profit organization is dedicated to fostering community through the sport of boxing, emphasizing discipline, respect, and sportsmanship.
As a non-profit, they rely on over 65 volunteers to provide accessible, high-quality boxing programs to all Winnipeggers. They offer a free youth program for ages 13-17 and support the North End Boxing Club, an after-school program for ages 12-17. They also partner with Pan Am Place to offer free memberships to at-risk young men.
They proudly support Umbrella Boxing, an inclusive program for the 2SLGBTQ+ community, providing a safe space for all to engage in boxing, regardless of experience or background.

Guest DJ - Coliwog
Coliwog is a resource, building space and connection within the electronic music scene here in Manitoba. He’s a creator, collaborator, teacher, and instigator of musical event escapism. He serves across and in-between many crews, organizations, and events including The Demand, Bring Your Love Festival, Skullspace, Sway This Way, Always Dale, Studio on Beat Street (TOR), MI-CASA/Menagerie, MEME, Dusk-til-Dawn, Junction-X, What’s Golden, and Diaspora DJs to list a few.
He is a driven entrepreneur and a lover of satire who thinks critically and hilariously about current events, philosophy, and the broader artistic landscape. His approachable nature encourages others to dabble and to dive-in to the depths of music. Connection with community fuels his creative fire, both as an event organizer and DJ.
While house and electronic music have become his speciality, Coliwog grew up with the Winnipeg Indie music scene, spending his formative years partying it up in fantastic spaces like DIE MACHINE, LOPUB, OZZY’s, and THE PURPLE ROOM. He returns lovingly to peruse new and old inspirations from these musical roots on Friday July 26th at The Beer Can. Expect some laidback sounds, some grunge, some oldies, some funk new and old, maybe some synthwave, definitely some Afro-House grooves, and a random assortment of more!
