Natural Cycleworks Tune-Up Pop-Up at The Beer Can

Roll through and get your ride ready for the road! Natural Cycleworks is popping up at The Beer Can one Sunday a month for a casual afternoon of free basic bike checks, flat fixes, and good vibes.

They’ll have tubes, pumps, and a few essential parts on hand, plus you can book full-service repairs back at their shop. While you’re there, check out their awesome merch—think stylish tees and water bottles to keep you looking fresh on and off the bike.

RALLY + RELEASE

We’re kicking off Sunday, June 22nd the right way: with movement, mindfulness, and a patio pint (or two).

We’ve teamed up with our pals at Modo Yoga, Queer Fit Club, RALLY, and yes — ourselves — for a morning that hits all the right notes.

Here’s the flow:

🏃‍♀️ 10:30–11:10 AM — A fun group run led by RALLY. No pressure, just good people, solid pace, and fresh air.

🧘 11:15–12:00 PM — Slow it down with a guided yoga flow on the lawn, led by Sean from Modo Yoga.

🍻 12:00 PM onward — You know what’s next. We’re pouring cold ones on the patio — ‘cause balance.

Free tickets are live on Queer Fit Club’s site. Bring your mat, your crew, and your best vibes.

We’ll also be collecting donations for Rainbow Resource Centre, because community care is part of the deal.

First Pour Party – Season Kick-Off at The Beer Can

🎉 Presented by The Beer Can, Brandish & Nonsense Studio

We’re kicking off the season with a bang! Join us for our Annual First Pour Party—a high-energy night of drinks, dancing, and unforgettable vibes at The Beer Can.

This year, we’ve teamed up with Brandish and the brilliant Kiandra from Nonsense Photo Studio to bring back Re:takes—a photo experience like no other: raw, real, and totally unfiltered.

📸 Re:takes runs from 3–5PM.

Then, stick around as the sun sets—DJ Dad will be spinning from 6–9PM to keep the energy high and the dance floor moving.

It’s not your typical photo booth—it’s a creative playground that captures the true spirit of the night. Come raise a glass, strike a pose, and help us launch the season in true Beer Can style.

Join us for a community-driven Spring Cleanup as we get ready for the season at The Beer Can! We’re teaming up with local partners Take Pride Winnipeg to clean up the riverbank, park, and streets around our space, making a positive impact on the neighbourhood while having some fun along the way. The day kicks off at The Beer Can with coffee, and cinnamon buns, (Coffee Provided By Harrisons Coffee Co. and cinnamon buns provided by Tall Grass Prarie) and a live DJ set to set the vibe. Volunteers will then spread out to clean up litter, with support from our team collecting full bags along the way. After sprucing up our area, we’ll take a group walk, continuing the cleanup en route to Next Door / Good Neighbour, where the event wraps up with more refreshments as a thank-you for everyone’s hard work. All volunteers will receive a free beer ticket to use at The Beer Can once we open for the season! Come out, lend a hand, and help us get the city looking great for spring. Let’s clean up, connect, and celebrate our community together!

Founded in 1968, the Pan Am Boxing Club is Manitoba's oldest boxing gym and a cornerstone of Winnipeg's boxing community. Located in the heart of the Exchange District, their non-profit organization is dedicated to fostering community through the sport of boxing, emphasizing discipline, respect, and sportsmanship.

As a non-profit, they rely on over 65 volunteers to provide accessible, high-quality boxing programs to all Winnipeggers. They offer a free youth program for ages 13-17 and support the North End Boxing Club, an after-school program for ages 12-17. They also partner with Pan Am Place to offer free memberships to at-risk young men.

They proudly support Umbrella Boxing, an inclusive program for the 2SLGBTQ+ community, providing a safe space for all to engage in boxing, regardless of experience or background.
