Brisbane-born avant-cellist Rob Knaggs is fast gaining a reputation with audiences for his dynamic walls of sound and live performances that transport them to the northern reaches of his adopted home in the sub-arctic. In the last five years, he’s performed concerts for beluga whales and beneath the northern lights, collaborated with throat singers, played support to Montreal sound wizard Tim Hecker, represented Manitoba at travel conferences across North America, and captivated audiences at Australia’s renowned Woodford Folk Festival. https://www.robknaggs.com/

Bluebloods is a collaboration between songwriter / producer / guitarist Conrad Sweatman and musical friends, especially singer Courtney Fox. The Winnipeg Free Press called Bluebloods debut EP Make It Rain "a profound statement of intent from an emerging artist whose work will soon be sought after." Continuing to blend the global sounds of house, jazz, and R&B with a lyrical absorption in the 'fly-over' country that extends roughly from Michigan to Saskatchewan, Bluebloods' second EP is scheduled for release in 2022. Bluebloods' music and videos can be heard here: www.sweatman.xyz.

New Wales draws on the simplicity and depth of the place they call home, with classic songwriting and production styles reminiscent of R.E.M. and Tom Petty, mixed with the immediacy and upbeat catchiness of MGMT and Sloan. Pull back the veil on the seemingly straight-ahead rock tunes and you’ll find something new every time, “I feel I’ve entered one of those vintage stores where the prices are a little higher than you want, but the crap-junk choices have already been sorted out.” says producer Rusty Matyas (Imaginary Cities, The Weakerthans). 'New Wales' have released a song and video a month since February of this year, and are looking forward to the release of their new single, 'Pure Treason' on September 3rd. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6w9kAKySPMg-E2jesZ-YlA
